Covenant's campus planning efforts focus on the goal of creating an academic village within a walkable campus, with spaces for gathering, studying, and simply enjoying the magnificent mountaintop view.
The area from Probasco Visitor/Alumni Center to Maclellan Hall is referred to as the campus green. To achieve the pedestrian-friendly campus we desire, the vehicular circle in front of Carter Hall has been converted to green space and named the Dottie Brock Gardens, in honor of Mrs. Dottie Brock, the wife of former Covenant College president Dr. Frank Brock. The new lawn and landscaping are a welcome addition, facilitating more interaction between students, faculty, and staff.
The entire campus green features wireless Internet.
