As over fifty classes of alumni and students can attest, Covenant is the academically rigorous institution for students who want to prepare for a life that reflects the power and grace of Christ in everything they do. A new academic building on the north end of campus will further promote a central academic village in the core of Covenant’s campus. Located across from Carter Hall, between the Overlook and the Dora Maclellan Brown Memorial Chapel, this academic building will consist of approximately 29,000 square feet on three floors. It will feature classrooms, a lecture hall, faculty offices, a faculty lounge, and both indoor and outdoor common space. The building will be home to the Chalmers Center and the education, foreign language, interdisciplinary studies, and sociology departments. It will benefit from excellent views of the eastern vista.
