As over fifty classes of alumni and students can attest, Covenant is the academically rigorous institution for students who want to prepare for a life that reflects the power and grace of Christ in everything they do. Under the guidance and instruction of dedicated teacher-scholars, students learn how to integrate their faith with their academic study in a broad array of disciplines from art to philosophy, community development to physics. Providing a first-rate education to these students means providing top-notch facilities in which they may study and learn.

A new academic building on the north end of campus will further promote a central academic village in the core of Covenant’s campus. Located across from Carter Hall, between the Overlook and the Dora Maclellan Brown Memorial Chapel, this academic building will consist of approximately 29,000 square feet on three floors. It will feature classrooms, a lecture hall, faculty offices, a faculty lounge, and both indoor and outdoor common space. The building will be home to the Chalmers Center and the education, foreign language, interdisciplinary studies, and sociology departments. It will benefit from excellent views of the eastern vista.
